A handy template from Figma for organising a remote design sprint
At some point in the design team lifecycle, more members have joined, more tools are being used, more files are created and shared, and the complexity has increased, naturally. All this will cause, also naturally, inconsistencies in deliverables and processes, which in turn will cause deteriorations in the quality of the product. Not nice.

Luckily, there’s a useful open-source resource, Design System Checklist, that can help increase the quality of everything. (!)
The checklist has over 150 actionable items and best practices in these categories:
- Design language
- Design tokens
- Core components
- Tooling
- Project management
You can access the checklist here:
As said, it’s an open-source project, so you feel like you’d like to contribute, check out the Github project as well.
